Jamie and Metin’s Big Fat Greek-Turkish Wedding, DaVinci Banquet, Woodbridge

Canada day was a little different this year – our friends Jamie and Metin got married! Some events are just a rarity in life. For instance – seeing Halley’s comet, discovering an oil patch in your back yard, or running into Bill Murray on the golf course would all be considered life changing, but imagine witnessing a Greco-Turkish wedding with your own eyes! The music, the food, and the appetite for a good time intertwined ever so perfectly, and the fun-loving bridal party ensured that there would be no shortage of jokes about austerity measures and Turkish delights. The wedding took place at DaVinci banquet hall in Woodbridge which will soon probably start keeping our pillows and toothbrushes. We took the photos in Kleinburg around the old train station which is very close to the venue itself, and provides a few different spots, including the McMichael gallery (which we didn’t visit this time around).

Jamie and Metin, congrats on tying the knot! (it was waaay overdue:-)) Here are some frames from the day. We love you guys.
